Choosing the right incubator

One of the most important decisions you can make is choosing the right incubator for your eggs. The incubator will directly impact your hatch rate, so it's best to choose a trusted well established brand like RCOM. When we first started in the early 2000's, there weren't so many incubators to choose from. Now there are so many, it can be very confusing to pick the right one. We hope this summary below helps. We want you to be informed and confident before making any purchase.  Please reach out to us if you have any questions!

The following section is broken down by the amount of eggs you'll be incubating at a time. It's always better to size up then to have extra eggs that can't fit in the incubator.

 3 - 10 eggs

  • Mini Pro Incubator - 3 chicken eggs or 7 quail sized eggs. Has automatic egg turning, manual humidity control, automatic temperature and 5 automatic egg settings (chicken, pheasant, duck, quail, or manual bird egg).
  • Pro 10 Plus - 10 chicken eggs or 30 quail eggs. Has automatic temperature, automatic humidity control, automatic turning, high and low temperature alarm, egg cooling, countdown to hatch, 5 automatic settings (chicken, pheasant, duck, quail, or manual egg) and a built-in egg candler.

20 - 50 eggs

  • Max-20 - 20 chicken eggs or 10 goose eggs or 52 quail eggs. Comes with universal tray for any size egg. Has automatic egg-turning, automatic temperature control, automatic humidity, low or high temperature alarm, and is incredibly easy to set up and use. Note: Does not have automatic settings only manual settings. Turning frequency is set to 1 hour but can be changed in 1 hour increments up to 3 hours between turning or even turned off for hatching.
  • Pro-20 -  20 chicken eggs or 10 goose eggs or 52 quail eggs. Comes with 3 sized trays, chicken, goose, and quail. Easy-to-read LCD display. Turning intervals can be set to be random up to 360 mins in 10 min increments. Turning angles can be set from random up to 180 degrees in 15 degree increments.
